Less Baby Gear, Less Overwhelm: Why This Hook-On High Chair Is a New Mom Must-Have

mom

No one really prepares you for how overwhelming baby gear can be.

You register for the essentials, people gift you things they swear you’ll “need,” and suddenly your house feels like a buybuy BABY warehouse exploded. High chairs, loungers, swings, seats, boosters… it’s a lot 😬

And if you’re a new mom already running on very little sleep, more stuff is the last thing you need.

That’s why I’m here to say this louder for the moms in the back:

Less is more. 🙌🏼

The Baby Item I Use Almost Every Single Day

One of my absolute favorite baby purchases has been the Lalo hook-on high chair. It’s one of those items that just makes life easier without adding clutter or chaos.

Here’s why I love it:

  • Installs in about 30 seconds
Truly. No tools. No instructions spiral. No “can you help me real quick?” to your partner. If you can clip something on, you can install this.

  • Perfect for small spaces
It hooks right onto your table, which means no bulky high chair taking over your dining area. And yes… it also means you can finally see the dirty sock hiding under the table 🙈

  • Great for travel
Restaurants, grandparents’ houses, vacations. It comes with us everywhere.

  • Super easy to clean
Wipeable = sanity saver. Especially once solids enter the chat.

  • Passed the “can it hold me?” test 😅
Not that I recommend trying it… but let’s just say it’s sturdy.

Why I’m Team Simple When It Comes to Baby Gear

As moms, we already juggle so much. Feeding schedules. Nap math. Laundry that somehow multiplies overnight.

When it comes to baby gear, I’ve learned that simple, functional pieces beat trendy, oversized ones every time.

You don’t need more.
You need better.

Pieces that:

  • Save space

  • Travel well

  • Grow with your routine

  • Don’t require a manual the size of a novel

This high chair checks all of those boxes.

Want the Link?

If you’re a new mom (or shopping for one) and want to simplify your setup, this is one item I genuinely recommend.

Because motherhood is overwhelming enough. Your baby gear doesn’t need to be.
